Deport all these illegals. IF you are going to give them their car back, do so at the border. Put them in the trunk on the way there, maybe they'll have flashbacks the next time they sneek over here in one!!

Since they are already letting the illegals get away with this, what are we supposed to do.

I am sure many of you know of at least one case where someone who has been involved in a traffic acident with an illegal have had the DA refuse to prosecute them for not having insurance, nor hold them in any way responsible.

I personally know of two cases in Ventura County where the illegals were not even charged for causing the accident, let alone charged for not having insurance. They were just let go,period. The person who was not at fault was expected to have their insurance foot the bill. This is why insurance costs so much in California.

So... what's to stop everybody claiming that they're illegal immigrants when they're stopped for such things? How is the officer supposed to know -- there's no "proof of illegality" that a person could show -- it would be based on self-reporting.

(This is assuming that traffic cops aren't allowed to send people to deportation hearings... if traffic cops were allowed to send illegal immigrants to be deported, we wouldn't need this "law")

My guess is Cedillo would not see an Equal Protection argument on this one either. Hey, since they are illegals they have no right to be "similarly situated," therefore, he would argue, Equal Protection would not lie.

And his constituents allow this?

Cedillo clearly believe that California is better served being reconquested by Mexico (for himself). Afterall, he's both for driver license for the illegals, and illegals voting. If the illegals votes, and they should be easy to control whom to vote, Cedillo and his cabal would be in total control.

Illegal aliens should be deported immediately. If they are "undocumented" (George Orwell is giggling in the Great Beyond), they are in violation of our laws.

If America needs the labor, fine, issue work visas and hold the aliens to the same accountability as everyone else.

Well, they do exempt convicted felons from gun registration requirements, under a tortured reading of the self-incrimination clause.
