		<description>Interesting the LAT didn't mention the author of the "commentary".  Two thoughts: (1) leaving out the author makes it harder for the reader to track back to the op-ed piece and figure out the context or significance of the error; (2) leaving out the author makes it harder for LAT readers or critics to determine the frequency of errors by the esteemed Scheer.  If readers kept seeing his name attached to corrections, they might actually ask why this hack still gets column inches every week.</description>

Note that Trib CEO says they hope to stem circulation declines, not that they will try to turn things around. Not encouraging to investors.
Also, note he says there were no factual errors in GM coverage.</description>
