My visceral reaction to that jerk is pretty much with IXLNXS. Except that I know exactly where that blow should strike. With repetition, because practice makes perfect. But rationally (ugh) .. I'm a bit skeptical of including animal cruelty as a strike - after all, an organization like PETA might somehow manage to outlaw leashes one day - but this act was unique. What this guy did was an incredibly cruel thing for nothing more than fun. I'm not a psychologist, but isn't animal cruelty a warning sign of how someone will eventually treat people? And since a short jail sentence could only toughen him, this is a perfect candidate for a strike, IMO. Anyway, if I were the family, I'd sue the pants off the guy. And push, hard.
